By the Water

Water changes how a road is read. You cannot walk straight, because the sea sits in the middle, and the only way across is a boat, a dive, or waiting for the tide. This corridor accepts games where water is the map rather than the decoration: crossing a sea, fishing from a shore, diving into ruins, and steering a small boat between islands. Rejected: games where the sea is only visible in the background while you run on land, swimming races that demand timing to the hundredth of a second, and anything that turns water into a wall you cannot pass. Here the water can always be crossed, in a different way each time.
