Every journey has a stopover: a bench at the side of the road, a small house with hot water, or a wooden table where you set the bag down for a while. This corridor is for the five or ten minutes between two stretches of road, when you are not chasing anything and only want to watch something grow. Accepted: games that keep running while you watch, gardens that fill in slowly, and small builds you can leave without penalty. Rejected: games that reward you only if you return every day, anything that sells in-game currency, and systems that punish you for closing the tab. A good stopover asks nothing of you, and that is the only condition here.
