Before It Gets Dark
This corridor is for the part of the road that has a clock on it. The sun is going down, something is running behind you, and the only way forward is to move faster than you did a minute ago. Accepted: one short run that ends in two or three minutes, one key or one thumb, and a restart button that answers immediately. Rejected: endless runs that only get harder, games that ask you to buy an upgrade before you can win, and anything that punishes a death with more than a single tap. We also reject games that need an account to keep a record. Every run here gives you one immediate chance to try again, with no need to replay the opening chapter.
